"Sometimes a laugh is all someone needs to turn their day around."

The Beginning

My journey wasn't paved with opportunity—it was carved through struggle. As a Castle High School graduate from Evansville, Indiana, I spent years grinding through manual labor jobs and working retail as an asset protection manager. Life threw everything it had at me, including periods of homelessness and financial instability that tested every ounce of my resolve.

But those dark times didn't break me. They shaped me into who I am today.

The Rise

What started as sharing stories from the driver's seat of my truck became something I never expected—a movement. Today, I've built a community of over 1.5 million followers across TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, X, and Twitch.

My content is raw, unfiltered, and real. I talk about the things that matter: everyday frustrations, the struggles we all face, and deeper topics like men's mental health. I've taken my comedy on tour across the nation and connected with people who've been through their own battles.

Why "RoninGT"?

The name isn't random—it carries profound personal significance. A Ronin is a masterless warrior, wandering in search of purpose. After losing my father, that's exactly how I felt. Lost. Drifting. Searching for meaning after our final interaction.

The "GT" was added for online distinction, but the Ronin? That's who I became. The name represents owning your pain and forging a purposeful path forward, no matter what life throws at you.

Stay Petty

My signature mantra, "Stay Petty," isn't about being spiteful or holding grudges. It's about caring deeply about life's meaningful details. It's fighting for dignity, second chances, and the things others might overlook.

Being petty means refusing to let the little things slide when they matter. It means standing up for yourself and others. It means not accepting "that's just how it is" as an answer.

Family & Community

Beyond the content, I'm an active father and bonus father to multiple children. My experiences as a parent ground much of my relatable content—because at the end of the day, we're all just trying to figure this thing out together.

I lead the Petty Squad—a community of people who refuse to give up, who find humor in the chaos, and who support each other through the hard times. Through Petty Potato Studios, I offer merchandise and mentorship for aspiring creators, while also working to support homeless populations—because I remember what it was like to have nothing.
